Sometimes I wake myself up in the middle of my dream and sit with Don Juan, Don Genero, and Pablito and overlook the high desert of Northern Mexico. Without reason they look at me with intense glowing eyes. They then turn into Coyotes and begin howling and laughing their asses off at me. To top it off, they piss all over me. Finally the wind begins to blow and I am hurled like a speck into another reality.

When I eventually return to my ordinary dream I am able to silence the inner dialog and stop the world.

At other times I quietly listen to the universe and it reveals its' splender to me.

Both of these help me subdue my ego and allow me to focus my attention on selflessly being and doing good and intending health, wealth and well being.

My "energy healing" starts with Nichiren buddhism. . Many other musicians and artists, some very well known, find it valuable, too. The basic practice of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo is the starting point for everything! All other energy is thus amplified.

OMG Dave, you sage, you! I haven't heard the name Nichiren since college. I remember we studied Latter Day of the Law(?) it's been too long to remember everything. I remember that Nichiren was from 1289 A.D. and I don't remember the teachings other than it was part of the Chinese Tendai. I know there is something out in circulation about the letters of Nichiren. I am not really familiar with Nam Myoho Renge Kyo however, maybe because I've been out of school too long.

I practice reiki level II, some EFT, will be receiving the 9 rites of the Munay-ki, and training in Angelic Living Light Alignments. I intend to learn light and sound healing, as well as sacred geometry. I believe that, as a result of the coming transition, humanity will be in great need of healing services that do not require technology, and I plan to learn and be able to teach as many as possible.

I don't believe that any specific crystal, hand waving method, or herb is any better than any other. I think, for example, just having this site/forum where people agree to focus on being better is what puts the energy into the crystals or the method you use.

I, personally, have cured some scary things in my own body before I started getting into any spirituality.... In other words, I was already spiritual, and I didn't know it.

Right now, I have been enjoying "The American Monk" (you may have heard of him), and he keeps it simple; the way I like it. He just has one or two Reiki style meditations... mostly visioning.

I believe the more simple, the better.... If imagining a healing light penetrating someone from across the country helps a friend... DO IT! Feel them being healed.... If you feel you can focus healing energy out of a crystal... DO IT!.... If you feel you can hug a special person every day, and feel energy flow into you... DO IT!

It is all good! It is all the same healing energy.

Yes, "it's all good", as long as the energy youre harnessing is truly healing. But there is a definite ordering of "efficiency of methods", as it were. It strongly behooves one to investigate, and for those that look promising, to test out, a number of promising looking methods!

I have enjoyed all kinds that I've participated in. I seem to be given whatever healing energy is needed at the time, which differs from person to person and moment to moment, but formally have been trained in Reiki.

I love ho'oponopono!!! I lived in Hawaii for 2 years and funny enough, I had never heard of it. Have you ever wanted to be 21 again but have the knowledge you have now? Okay, well now you can. Ho'oponopono, erases garbage memories out of your subconsious that you've been carrying around with you, making you act like an a***hole and replaces it with love. 10 years of memories or more or more erased and OMG, I totally remember feeling like this when I was 21. I am confusing you but enticing you to learn more about it. Read www.zerolimits.com or just put ho'oponopono into a search engine. This is the modernized version, Dr. Len uses and is truly powerful and oh, so beautiful.

Happy Summer everyone!
I have been trained in many various methods of healing and what I find the best for myself is Reiki, meditation and calling on the angel realms to assist while I am sleeping! I also work with the "Lightbody" energies and go to the soulplane and place my energies on grids to call on "like minded" individuals that are working with the same types of healing.
For my clients, I use Reiki, Blue Star Celestial energy and what is highest and best for the individual. I make the intention that I am a clear and open channel and place my personality and ego aside, so the healing energies can flow in the clearest and truest form.
As I surf the internet, I see so many varieties of healing, reiki and you name it. It is important that we evolve and continue to grow, but sometimes I wonder if all of those different modalities takes away from the true form and gets a bit involved in the rational mind. A lot of the Reiki classes that have evolved, have twenty or so symbols to go higher or faster, etc. If your intention is pure, how many symbols do you really need? I don't know, but my gutt feeling is we are getting a bit carried away. Just my opinion....

Pamz, what is Blue Star Celestial energy? It sounds like you have experience with some really fascinating methods of energy healing. May I ask why you ask the angel realms to assist while you are sleeping? What are they assisting you with and don't you also ask them while you're awake? That works pretty well for me. To address your Reiki symbol question. I don't know about twenty symbols, but I am a Reiki master and have discovered, much to my surprise I might add, that with each new symbol I have felt different things. With each attunement, I have felt a staggering increase in energy flow and I know I am not alone in this. Each symbol is used for different things and I enjoy using the symbol or symbols that match what's needed. I find that it works the most effectively from situation to situation. In October I'll be working with Karuna Reiki, which has symbols that can be used in conjunction with Usui Reiki symbols, but which works on a whole separate level. I'm so glad everyone's sharing here - this is all fascinating - I am amazed every day at how much I can learn from everyone here. Thank you, all! Love and light, Laura

Blue Star Celestial Energy combines a very high-dimensional level of healing, for bringing galactic healing and peace to the planet, with personal spiritual growth, or ascension-oriented, work. Also, I see your point and discussion about the symbols. In Reiki two I teach that the symbols are "keys" to unlock energies for healing. I also teach Karuna Reiki and when I was first attuned to the energy I felt a heartbeat in my hands when I would activate the energy. I find that over the years the symbols and energy automatically channel through or around me as needed. I also know that the symbols create an "conditioned response" in the brain that tells the brain to transmit when the symbol is thought of.

I found that asking the angels for healing during the day makes me a bit spacey and thinking about angels too much! I sleep so much better at night when I ask them for healing at night. It is just a personal preference. I do call on the angels during the day for assistance in my life though.
