I'd like to advice. I have been doing Reiki for two years. It has completely transformed my life. I love who I am and what it has done for me. I have been a doula for 6 months. But I just broke up with a guy who was very nasty to me about my belief in reiki and told me the doula stuff he could handle but not that. And he wasn't nice about it. We barely knew each other and I didn't talk much about it at all. I have had similar experiences and I am wondering how to handle this for the future because it is hard to keep being rejected for this when clearly the other person just doesn't understand. Personally, I think it is very nasty and rude to say, I can deal with the doula stuff but the reiki and crystals makes you too different than me. I spent time with this person, we went on regular dates and did regular date things and never talked about spirituality at all. so I am perplexed and hurt about this. I don't care about losing this person. He is a turd. The universe showed me that. But how can I find a man that will understand and accept this in me, who is also of my faith? Please advise

Thank you so much for adding me as a friend here. I am still learning QT (quantum touch) and Reiki. I had an amazing experience with QT just this morning. I ran into a iron edge of a coffee table (brick top, so very heavy didn't budge!). My left knee was hurting more than you can imagine.

When normall I would get a huge bruise, after doing QT immediately for over an hour, there was no brusing, but only a slightly red raised mark. In addition I am walking with only a slight ache in my knee.
I am so glad I have learned enough about QT not only to heal other and myself.

Yeah, they did mention the blessings but told me that in their church only men can do it. Since I won't impose my will I just let it be. The birth went well anyway and she was a great client to have. Thanks for getting back to me :-)

Suggestion try to stay healthy, eat right, exericise and keep chakras and meridians clear. Chakras clear i use crystals plus reiki if it is still flowing well. Sometimes i have got blocked but you never get blocked completely i have heard maybe you are not feeling it try it on someone let them feel use the symbols etc , meridians try energy medicine techniques or EFT tapping of the merdians. My personal belief is that it is all the same energy, just different methods/modalities for accessing it. I tend to mix the different styles and techniques to fit the situation and the needs of my client. I have found that all the techniques taught are all similar at the very core of all the systems.

I've seen Pranic healing being done, and I have found that it is also a valid and effective technique. Polarity doesn't really approach the matter of where the energy comes from, but deals more with how to affect a change in another.

*shrugs* I guess the best answer I can give you would be that, as I said earlier, my personal belief of the universal energy source (call it what you will) and my own "good & pure" intentions on accessing it and using it towards the betterment of myself and others.
